Posted on April 3, 2010 1:18 PM

(Written by guest contributor Sarah Beek) Meetup.com is the perfect confluence of online social networking and in-person social networking. Social networking websites are great, but they really can't compete with the power of meeting and connecting with someone in person. Remembering 9/11

Posted on September 11, 2006 1:02 PM

Today is a day of reflection. I can't believe it has been five years since Islamo-fascist terrorists barbarically hijacked airplanes and flew them into the World Trade Center and The Pentagon. Time really does pass by in an instant. As we remember the destruction wrought by evil people, lets take time to remember the lives that were lost and the impact that it has had on so many other people. I'm sure that the trauma... The AdSense Code on Amazon.com

Posted on March 30, 2006 11:24 PM

It was a pretty exciting day yesterday. The UPS man dropped four boxes at my front door. I instantly knew what they were. Carrying the boxes insides, I quickly found scissors and gently cut the tape that sealed the cardboard boxes. It was just as I had expected. Books. Dozens of copeis of the same book. My book. Hillary and Finance Fraud

Posted on January 7, 2005 5:20 PM

Say it isn't so! Imagine this if you will. Hillary Clinton's campaign finance director, David Rosen, did a big no-no. The indictment of David Rosen, unsealed in Los Angeles, focuses on his fund-raising for an Aug. 12, 2000, gala for Clinton in Los Angeles. The New York Democrat was still first lady at the time. While the event allegedly cost more than $1.2 million, the indictment said, Rosen reported contributions of about $400,000, knowing the... Continue Reading

Buying a DVD Recorder

Posted on June 15, 2004 11:12 AM

A few years back, I purchased a Pioneer DVD recorder for my home PC. I enjoyed burning a handful of videos onto disc (home movies), but I haven't really gotten much use from the unit. Incompatibility problems, buggy drivers and other obstacles have made it a bit less attractive then when I first purchased it. I've had my eyes on a DVD recorder for my home theater ever since that time, pining for the day... Continue Reading
