I receive a lot of feedback from people who have read my books and used my information products. Much of that feedback is positive. There's nothing better than reading an email from someone who's doubled their AdSense income after reading my book or picked up more clients after using Twitter. It lets me feel like I'm really making a difference. Continue Reading

In preparation for writing this article I thought I would look for a great quote about learning from your mistakes. You know what...that was a mistake, because honestly there are a ton of them online. They all boil down to one basic principle: You can learn far more from your mistakes than from your successes. I've been at Project Fit for about a month now. My goal has been to prove you don't need to go to extremes in order to lose weight and become healthier. There's nothing wrong with extreme exercising as it really can't do you harm. But there is a problem with extreme dieting. I don't want to be extreme in any way. After reading The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy, I wanted to put his theories... Continue Reading

If you are an online business person with multiple websites, you know that keeping tabs on all of them can sometimes be a tangled nightmare. Have you ever noticed that over the years, you tend to do pretty much the same things? If you're a reader, you remain one; if you're a writer, you tend to write; if you're a procrastinator, you tend to keep procrastinating, and so forth. Continue Reading

When big companies first picked up on Twitter, many got it wrong. They used the company logo as their avatar, broadcast their ads and offers, ignored the people replying to them and didn't follow anyone who wasn't part of the company. They acted like giant firms using Twitter as a giant billboard. Continue Reading

Since coming on board as President of InfoMedia, Inc. a few months ago, one of the first things I did was to create some work files for the various projects that began crossing my desk immediately. They were files with titles like, Staff Matters, Financial Matters, Legal Matters, etc. As I began to get to know the company more thoroughly, I realized how much organization matters. We are living in challenging times. If you are not feeling the economic pinch, you at least know others who are. Some blame the politicians, both Republicans and Democrats. Others blame the legal system. And many wag their finger at corporations who have failed to serve the customer in lieu of their own desire to become wealthy. Regardless, the end result is that unemployment is up and more people are having a difficult time making... Continue Reading

A few months back, I launched this groundbreaking Internet marketing course to the world... The Secret Classroom ... and the feedback has been fantastic! I regularly receive emails from people telling me what an impact this course has had on their online business. I wanted to take a moment today and share one of these emails with you. I think it says way more about the value of The Secret Classroom than I could ever... Continue Reading

Does American Airlines have good customer service? Once again, I find myself on the "I can't believe this is happening" end of a telephone conversation with a customer service rep. Here's the story. I had booked a flight using reward miles to fly someone from Dallas to Denver in a couple weeks. As it turns out, he is going to drive here a few days early and won't require the initial leg of the flight... Continue Reading

It's one of the biggest challenges of building a profitable online publishing business. It's also one of the most important. Generating traffic. There's no easy way to do it. Yes, you have to have good content. Without that, you're never going to get the sort of traffic that arrives naturally, comes back and gives you referrals. But even good content isn't enough. It doesn't matter how good your content is if no one knows you... Continue Reading

Are you overwhelmed? I don't know about you, but I can get involved in so many projects that I occasionally feel like my brain is going to explode. Someone get the duct tape! The reality of the situation is that there is more opportunity on the web than anyone can possibly grasp. You may already be succeeding online... ... or you may be struggling.
