How do you feel about celebrities?
Are you in awe when you meet someone that is well-known?
Do you get nervous when speaking with them?
Do you attribute value to people based on their status?
How do you treat those that appear to have achieved the level of status, wealth, fame or power that you may aspire to? Continue Reading

I've got a question for you. Please raise your hand if you sincerely wish to have a successful online business. Now keep your hand up if you have achieved this goal. Odds are most of the hands just went down. Why is that? It's not for a lack of quality material. Whether you have read my books or acquired material from other sources, you are probably pretty clear on the "how" to make money on... Continue Reading

Recently there has been a lot of discussion of female bloggers and how a recent Technorati report found that 67% of all bloggers are male. I would venture to guess that an even higher percentage of Internet marketers and online entrepreneurs are male. Which is not to say that there aren't some great ladies with the entrepreneurial spirit out there. Here are some of the top female online entrepreneurs, in no particular order: Continue Reading

It was a one-of-a-kind show today, with special guest J.T. Foxx.
Nationally-syndicated radio show host, J.T. has plenty of opinions on politics and business. With the election coming up, it was interesting to hear his point of view.
Dan brought us a new Top Ten list, and the long-awaited destruction of our desk finally happened.
It has all the components of a classic show. Watch the replay now!

I've been wanting to meet Jason Calacanis face-to-face for some time. For those that don't know, Jason is the co-creator of Weblogs, Inc., which was sold to AOL for $25 million. I'm at Affiliate Summit in Las Vegas where Jason Calacanis delivered the keynote address this morning. I really didn't know anything about Jason as a person, so I was looking forward to an insightful talk with fresh ideas. Wow, was I in for a... Continue Reading

Mary and I attended a marriage conference at our church the past two days. It featured Gary and Michael Smalley of the Smalley Relationship Center. Gary is a best-selling author and speaker, with over 30 books in print. He has spoken to millions regarding relationships, marriage, parenting and so forth. His son, Michael, is equally gifted, and now has a counseling center and his own syndicated radio talk show. The seven hours spent in the... Continue Reading

I've written of Glenn Beck in the past. He is currently my favorite syndicated talk show host, presenting an excellent mix of politics, religion, humor and satire, mixed together with some of the best production values I have ever experienced. Like many of us, Beck is tired of the media focusing on the wrong things, such as repeatedly "reporting" the abuses in the Iraqi prisons. A couple days ago, he did a little 6-minute piece... I had the distinct pleasure of meeting a fellow 'net pioneer this week. Barbara Feldman of SurfNetKids, one of the best kid sites writes a nationally syndicated article, writes books and keeps up with a handful of web sites. She is a really neat lady with great ideas! Barbara's latest feature is an inspirational flash movie called Light an Educational Fire. If you are parent, teacher, grandparent or if you are in any category that... Continue Reading

Man, am I beat. It has been a LONG day, but quite enjoyable. The kids did a lot of their school work in the room this morning while I took a walk around the area. I am determined to continue exercising while we are on this trip lest I move up a waist size. We got going around noon and set course for St. Louis. I did not realize that the mountains/hills went this far... Continue Reading
