What makes the difference between a person who succeeds and one who doesn't? What makes the difference between a person who accomplishes great things and another who never does anything? What makes the difference between a person who gets what they want and one that is left empty-handed? Certainly, life can throw all kinds of curveballs at us. We don't get to choose our parents. We don't get to choose where we are born. We... Continue Reading

Death. Now there's a way to start a blog entry! It's been said by Steven Covey that we should "begin with the end in mind." Well, it doesn't get any more "end" than death, does it? At least as far as our lives on earth are concerned. We live in a culture that is death-averse. We are fascinated with concepts of the afterlife, but death itself is a horrible thing that we'd rather not look... Continue Reading

A few years ago I heard people in the Internet marketing circles talking about "The Secret." I was told it was an amazing film featuring successful people demonstrating a "law of the universe" that had been hidden from the majority of mere mortals. Starring in this film based on a book by Rhonda Byrne were such people as Joe Vitale, James Arthur Ray, Michael Beckwith, David Schirmer and Bill Harris, among otthers. I decided to... I received an email solicitation today to take part in an alleged competition that is due to take place starting in October.
It's called (brace yourself...)
"The Internet Marketing World Cup" (goooooooooalllll!)
It is likely you will be hearing more about this in the future so I thought it would be interesting to dissect it and share some thoughts. Continue Reading

At first glance you might thing #25 in my list of 25 Computer Games that Rocked My World is somehow related to World of Warcraft.
It's not.
In fact, when The Horde was released in 1994, there wasn't even a company called Blizzard to create the Warcraft universe.
Yet this action-strategy game holds a place in a my heart despite Kirk Cameron appearing in the video cutscenes. Continue Reading

WARNING: Today's post is going to rattle cages and put a spotlight on a potentially dark side of Internet marketing. Yeah, I'm probably going to tick some people off. That's life. I'm more concerned with speaking the truth. This is #2 in a series called The Truth About Internet Marketing. Part one was called "The Long Form Sales Letter. For some time it has been suspected that there is a "secret cabal" of Internet marketers... Continue Reading

December 12, 2008.
A day that will live in infamy.
The aftershocks are still being felt (and smelt) throughout the iPhone universe.
And the world has never been quite the same.
For on that day, iFart Mobile was released to an iTunes AppStore public unaware of what was to come.
Pure global flatulence domination. Continue Reading

What is the secret to making money online? What strategy has been known to be effective for the vast majority of people who faithfully implement it? What is the one thing that you are fully equipped to do RIGHT NOW without any further training? Many in the Internet marketing and online business space won't tell you this. They don't want you to know. But I'm about to spill the beans... to show my hand... to... Continue Reading

I had the opportunity to be a guest on the Denver Morning Show today. The show broadcasts on Channel 2 out of Englewood, CO and is anchored by Tom Green. (Not THAT Tom Green.. the other one...) The interview was to focus on my new book, Twitter Power, and I certainly had a skeptic in Mr. Green! The set was typical as you would expect of a local news program. It's always fun to watch... It's all changed. It happened so fast, we hardly even noticed. But looking back, it's incredible how different everything is today. When I started out in Internet Marketing, no one had any idea who I was. No one needed to. All they had to do was know where my websites were and enjoy the content I was putting up. It was impersonal and it worked both ways. My users might only have thought of me... Continue Reading

We live in a reciprocal Universe.
All of us are trained at a very young age to take.
Hopefully, we are also trained to give.
Give and take.
Someone asks you how you are doing...
... and you ask them how they are doing.
Someone gives you a gift...
... and you are more likely to give them a gift in the future.
Give and take.
That's the way the Universe operates.

I don't like fishing. I couldn't care less if I ever catch another fish the rest of my life.
However, my alter-ego, Zorigon, enjoys fishing quite a bit. It's even more enjoyable when I am providing fish for my son, BRMadcat.
Sound weird? It's just another day in the alternate universe known as World of Warcraft Continue Reading

Over the years, many atheists and agnostics have enjoyed mocking Christians and people of religion who choose to believe in God. The most frequent criticism is that belief in God is unscientific, therefore it is foolish. What many people don't realize is that the Bible and the stories within have an incredible amount of evidence to support them. More and more scientists are recognizing that the complexity of the universe necessitates a divine Creator as... Continue Reading
