Twitter is powerful. Facebook is a force to be reckoned with. Both are great sources for generating new business.
But there is one site that gets the short end of the stick when it comes to social media influence. And if you know how to use it right, you can generate tons of targeted leads for your business.

I recently wrote a few articles that created quite a bit of response from my readers. Where is the Integrity in Internet Marketing? challenged many of the all-too-common tactics used by unscrupulous marketers. I invited my readers to share their thoughts and experiences related to these issues, and the comments that followed were both insightful and instructional. Let's face it. When it comes to selling a product or service, marketing approaches are all over the... Continue Reading

Whether or not your online business plans include you writing anything, there is a lot to be said for developing a consistent journaling habit. Many, many people (especially those who have to be creative on a daily basis) attest to the fact that doing a morning "brain dump" of all of your worries, ideas, plans, etc. by writing them down helps to clear you out to do your best work later in the day. This... Continue Reading

(Written by guest contributor Chris Harper) Last week, when faced with a pretty tight deadline and a creative block the size of Rhode Island, I was in serious need of some inspiration. The normal tricks of getting out of my office or getting hopped up on caffeine and sugar were useless. So when it looked like all was lost, I popped open my iTunes library and started looking for the perfect song that would carry... Continue Reading

In the age of broadband Internet speeds, it is often easy to let optimization get shoved to the back burner. But the fact is that a large portion of people surfing the Internet are still using dial-up. More and more people are also browsing the Web on mobile networks, which should be taken into account. If you can speed up the load times of your website, you'll have much happier guests, and they will be... Continue Reading

I offer a lot of different products. Some of those products I create myself. Others have been created by people I know. All of them, I firmly believe, can bring real benefits to the people who use them. If I wasn't 100 percent convinced that someone who is prepared to use the ideas contained in my books and products, and in the products that I recommend, couldn't achieve massive success, I wouldn't offer them for... Facebook. The first time I heard about this site had to be over a year ago. I was told it was a social networking site for college students, so I didn't give it much of a look. After all, I've been out of college for many years. (I won't tell you how many!) But about a month or so ago I started receiving invitations to use facebook from some friends and associates of mine. Hmmm... Continue Reading

Thousands of people start businesses every year.
And thousands of people fail miserably at their businesses every year.
The reasons for failure are wide and varied.
But more often than not, the problem comes down to marketing.
After all, a useless or inferior product can be made quite popular with the proper marketing. Continue Reading

I'm always going on about the importance of great content. It really is the most important thing you'll put on your website. Sure, the way you format your AdSense units is important. The affiliate products you choose to promote will affect your earnings. The design and layout of your page will determine whether it looks professional and invites users to stick around and come back for more... or send them screaming back where they came...
