Wednesdays at our office is IntaJuice day. Everyone gets their choice of healthy fresh fruit or veggie juice.
Since I am on a course to a healthier me, my assistant told me I should try a wheatgrass shot.
After some resistance, I decided I would give it a go.
I then pressured Dan into doing the shot with me. He really didn't want to do it, but he's a good sport. Continue Reading

Yesterday was the debut of my new WebmasterRadio.fm show. I'll be broadcasting live every Wednesday at 12 pm NOON EST (9 am PST). My special guest on the premiere of the show was Dan Nickerson, my VP of Ideas. I will be featuring a number of other guests on the program in the future. For this edition, I discussed the latest news related to the iPad, the rejection of iFart for iPad, and a philosophy... Continue Reading

Tragedies have a way of helping us forget our differences and of reminding us how vulnerable we all are. The massive earthquake in Haiti has claimed tens of thousands of lives and devastated the very small country. Thankfully, support and aid is pouring in from all over the world. With so much need, it's hard to believe that every little bit makes a difference. But it does. Thanks to the leadership of Justin Williams at... Continue Reading

For over one year, Dan Nickerson and I co-hosted a live video stream every Wednesday at 11 am.
The show was called Joel Comm LIVE!.
For one hour we would discuss internet marketing, answer questions from viewers, welcome guests and be silly.
However, with my travel schedule becoming busier and busier, it became more difficult to pull off a regularly scheduled live program. Continue Reading

I've been a fan of UStream.tv ever since I discovered them a little over a year ago.
Every Wednesday, I do a live show with my co-host Dan Nickerson. It's called Joel Comm LIVE!
UStream has proven to be innovative as they continue to add cool features for broadcasters, including the ability to bring in co-hosts from other locations, add titles and also play YouTube or local videos within your program. Continue Reading

While attending an Internet marketing conference in Chicago, I spent a lot of time networking with my peers. As I sat at the dinner table last night, I noticed that a bunch of us were twittering on our handhelds. Simon Leung, Donna Fox, Eric Farewell, Anik Singal and several others had their PDAs or phone out and were twittering away... sometimes to each other other, even though they were sitting across the table from each... I need to back up a bit because I left out Sunday from my journal. On Sunday, I spoke at Chris Howard's "Ultimate Wealth Symposium" on the grounds of the Sydney Olympic Park. I had a fantastic time sharing my story with 800 or so people. I've got to say, the Aussies are a bit difficult to get moving, but I think everyone had a good time and learned a thing or two. I also... Continue Reading

I've just spent an incredible three days in Las Vegas at the Affiliate Summit. This gathering of nearly 3000 people was one of the largest concentrations of affiliate marketers in history. While I did enjoy some of the workshops, the greatest benefit was from networking with others in the industry. I finally got to meet famous bloggers such as Amit Mehta, John Chow, Andrew Wee and Zac Johnson, just to name a few. All these... Continue Reading

The Pink Floyd classic album, Dark Side of the Moon, is though to be the greatest rock album of all time. I might support that assertion. If you listen all the way to the end of the album, Roger Waters says, "There is no dark side of the moon. Actually, it's all dark." I know, it's profound. Still, the album is an absolute classic and one for every music-lover's collection. And speaking of the moon... Continue Reading

I have just come from the office where I have seen the rough cut of Episode One of The Next Internet Millionaire.
WOW!
This thing looks great!
The intro is cool. The music is awesome. The teaching is solid. The storyline is compelling. The cast is entertaining.
I am absolutely sure that you are going to love this show. Continue Reading

"It was a dark and stormy night." That may as well be the beginning of this newsletter, because I have started writing it five times now. I get past the first line, read it, and delete it. So I figure you just can't go wrong with "It was a dark and stormy night." Well, perhaps if I was writing fiction... The fact is that I've got a lot to tell you this week and I'm... Continue Reading

In the midst of a global war on terror, it's good to see the President coming out for some of the battles on the home front. WASHINGTON, Aug. 3 (UPI) -- U.S. President George Bush reignited debate over evolution by advocating teaching concept of intelligent design in schools. That view promotes the idea that an unseen force is behind the development of humanity. Scientists claim intelligent design has no supporting evidence and is an attempt... Continue Reading
