The KaChing Button "Push It and Win" Sweepstakes

Posted on February 13, 2010 7:57 AM by Joel Comm

There are now over 150,000 unique apps in the iTunes AppStore.

The over fifty million iPhone and iPod Touch owners have downloaded several billion apps, and there is no sign of slowing.

But have you ever seen an app that has a sweepstakes built in to it?

With "The KaChing Button", you can enter to win daily cash prizes of up to $1000!

The app itself is a green-colored button with a dollar sign ($) on the front. When you push the button, it makes the KaChing sound. It will bring a smile to your face.

But from Monday, February 15th to March 16th, 2010, every time you push the KaChing Button you can become eligible to win a daily cash prize of at least $100 and up to $1000!

Naturally, you have to be at least 18-years old to qualify for a cash prize according to U.S. law. You also need to be a United States resident.

That's not to say that teens or those from foreign countries can't purchase the app. They can. They just aren't eligible to win in the sweepstakes.

Are sweepstakes apps the next big thing for the AppStore? I think so.

For people who like to enter sweepstakes, this is a no-brainer. If you don't want to purchase the app, you don't have to. There are other ways to enter so no purchase is necessary.

You can read more about The KaChing Button and additional sweepstakes rules at KaChingButton.com

Or, you can download the app now on iTunes.

I sincerely hope that sweepstakes apps are NOT the next big thing for the AppStore. People who are unfortunate enough to be addicted to gambling don't need to be exposed to it in the AppStore too. Sorry Joel, but he development of this app is nothing to be proud of.

i really not interested about doorprize, ist a few technique to get huge download from some people, but in fact, no body know who win the door prize

I love America and the ability to think and create out of the ordinary...good motivating post Joel!

  4. The Real IM Says:

Joel, one time you created Ifart, the most repugnant app in AppStore. Now you are creating this app, that is just a gambling device.

Sorry Joel, but you are a better writer about Adsense than a app developer. It's make no sense although I Know many crazy people bought Ifart and now are going to buy KaChing.

Or maybe your time is gone. Shoemoney are doing much more helping people monetize their internet efforts than you now. It's seen that you are desesperate for money nowadays.

We can not be everything in the world Joel. Even you!

  5. Joel Says:

Well as long as we aren't being judgmental. ;-)

First of all, who are you to decide what is good for people to buy and what isn't? Are you on the "App Police Force"?

People bought iFart because they thought it was funny. It is a quality product that has brought millions of laughs to the world.

The KaChing button is NOT a gambling device. That would be illegal. It is a sound button that makes a KaChing sound. We are holding a SWEEPSTAKES within the app. It is not a game of risk. You don't even need to have the app to enter the sweepstakes.

It's no different than McDonalds having their "monopoly" sweepstakes. You buy a drink and you get a game piece... a chance to win cash or prizes.

As for apps, perhaps you aren't familiar with some incredibly sophisticated apps my team has created. I'll let you find them for yourself if you can to do the research.

Desperate for money? That must be why I am sending out quality content on a regular basis while my peers continue to blast offers days after day.

It's very easy to judge when we stand on the outside. It's even easier when we are ignorant of the facts. It's one reason people should engage their brain before they open their mouth. Or in this case, before you hit the submit button :-)

It allows you to change the $ currency symbol to Yen, Pounds or Euro. Does it convert winnings to the specified currency?
