There's nothing better than welcoming a new child into the world and your family. Being a father of two, I can tell you that the health and welfare of your children is the utmost priority.
We had a bit of a scare when our daughter was born and spent the first few days of her life wondering when she would be able to come home from the hospital.
It all turned out well, but some families aren't as fortunate.
My friend, Dr. Mani, has labored for those families whose children are born with congenital heart defects.
Over the years he has sought to educate and bring awareness to this terrible diagnosis that affects seven in every one thousand live births.
Dr. Mani has raised over $100,000 in his annual blog-a-thon.
This year, he is doing a "tweet-a-thon", and I encourage you to take part in helping spread the word. In doing so, you could help save a life.
The Tweet-a-thon takes place on September 12th and I will be doing my part to help.
