Who are your favorite online marketers?
I've got a number of people that I follow, not just because they have great ideas, but also because they entertain me.
Once you've got a product or service that can bring value to people's lives, successful marketing of that product or service is determined by how well you tell a story.
I know that some people will insist that the product is the most important element, but I will disagree.
There are plenty of inferior products that sell quite well due to the company's ability to connect with their customer on an emotional level.
How else can you explain the success of McDonalds? It's not because the food is so great!
So who are your favorite online marketers for 2009?
As a reader of my blog, I hope I have served you well this year.
I attempt to create products and services that add value, and I always seek to do it in an entertaining and ocassionally inspirational manner.

Joel, you have been an inspiration to me for several years now. What I have learned from you has more than doubled my income, ... and I am in a tough industry.
What keeps me following you and reading every blog and every book is your integrity and your moral values. You don't just talk the talk, you walk the walk. You are sincere and genuine. You are not afraid to be honest and straight forward as opposed to politicaly correct. It's not all about the money with you. You don't blow smoke.

Hi Joel, figured I may as well toss in my votes of appreciation to: Craig Garber (best copywriter I've read), Russell Brunson (still impresses me with the monetization they put into each offer), Lee McIntyre (high value, high conversion products), Aymen (1001 projects) ...
