For the majority of my life, Heinz ketchup has been a staple in my diet. It's good on hamburgers, hotdogs and french fries. But ever since discovering that Heinz ketchup is owned in part by the wife of Senator John F. Kerry, Heinz Ketchup has left a bad aftertaste in my mouth.
I don't support Democrats. Why should my ketchup?
Or so ask the creative folks at W Ketchup. What you have here is little more than ketchup in a bottle, but with a twist. This ketchup is patriotic, calling itself "America's Ketchup".
They claim that Heinz ketchup not only has 57 varieties, but 57 factories in foreign nations to make the stuff. W Ketchup is all-American, with all ingredients grown in America. Not only that, but a portion of every sale is donated to the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships for the children of active duty service members killed in the line of duty. Now that's patriotic ketchup!
I love it! I wish I had thought of it. I'll bet these guys are making a bundle on this stuff. And they are helping a good cause along the way.
Kudos to American entrepreneurship, made possible by capitalism. Hooray for those who use their ingenuity to enter the competitive marketplace, risking time and capital, to pursue the American dream.

Interesting idea, a fair way to show displeasure with the present situation. As long as it doesn't get to the point of the situation with french fries (I'm sorry, FREEDOM fries). That idea was absolutely asinine and actually insults my intelligence as an American - just because the French didn't agree with us on war, certain people thought it of utmost importance to chane the name of french fries. How absolutely BABIFIED. It is hateful, juvenille mentalities like that that keep this country held down from being great. I truly hope the W. Ketchup clan doesn't take it to the "freedom" fry level, or else I may "freedom" puke.
Some of the new flu vaccine will be coming from France. I hope no one is so spiteful they die instead of taking the vaccine!

I haven't gotten a bottle of W Ketchup but I have encouraged the family and friends to stop buying Heinz products. I think for the most part I've succeeded.
But I agree with Greg... I love Teresa Heinz-Skerry. Every time she opens her mouth, the Kerry campaign sticks a big foot in theirs.

Nearly all of my friends supported/voted 4 kerry -- many of whome are.. (jocks, preps, punks, nerds.. the whole shibang..).... And I live in (dallas)texas.....! wtf!? right!!? ...
i don't think they were ill-informed about the elections this year either.
I can recall most of them having legit reasons for voting kerry... the ones i heard of most were environmental issues, the war and gays/lesbian marriage.

I would like to know when it comes to Arkansas,especially to Wal-Marts or Krogers. I would like to try your ketchup. Even though I can't order it right now, I think your ketchup is a great food idea for this country, who has been dominated by big name brands, that it is about time we had someone else come along to give them competition. COME ON AMERICA! Let's support our AMERICAN made products!!!!!!!
