Weird and Wacky on the Web

Posted on December 20, 2003 11:01 AM by Joel Comm

The web now boasts BILLIONS of web pages, making it challenging to find the "good stuff". My friend, Randy Cassingham, has been creating "good stuff" online for many years. His site, This is True, deals with bizarre-but-true items culled from the world's newspapers. Randy provides plenty of excellent content and gives it a humorous twist with his commentary. If you need something useful in your email box, this will provide a needed respite from the doldrums of your work day. Subscribe for free and tell him the Mayor sent ya.

The "This is True" site is somewhat like Chuck Shepherd's "News of the Weird" site except Randy adds his commentary which is often as entertaining as the news item! His linked sister sites are great also.
