I regularly receive questions from my readers and subscribers. In fact, I get WAY too many questions to even begin to address them all.
Today, I have a question for YOU! In fact, I am soliciting your input.
First, a little history...
In 1995, I launched my first web site at www.WorldVillage.com. Designed to provide a family-friendly alternative for the web, WorldVillage published software reviews, articles and online games that were safe for the entire family.
As the years went by, I launched other sites and WorldVillage became a "portal" to my portfolio of sites.
To this date, the site receives several thousand visits per day and people enter through any number of doorways. Some come through the main page. Others find the games portion of the site. Still others enter by reading a software reviews, some of which are eleven years old!
WorldVillage.com's main page carries a Google Pagerank 7 and the site is ranked 24,000 on Alexa.
Because I've been so busy with other areas of my business, I have been unable to give WorldVillage.com the love and attention it so richly deserves. And basically, I feel like the site has lost its identity and WANTS to be reinvented.
And that's why I want your input.
I KNOW that WorldVillage.com can be a world-class site, somehow focusing on people. But exactly what that looks like, I just don't know right now.
So, what do YOU think I should do with WorldVillage.com?
I'm open to all kinds of ideas!
Take a look at the site and browse through the many features. I would very much like to keep the current content in tact, but I think the site can be transformed into so much more.
I don't want this site to go another day without being all it can be. And I also know that there is so much creativity within the minds of those of who read this blog I can't wait to see what you come up with.
