  1. Swift Says:

Well, first and foremost, the video was presented fairly well.
I, personally like to read and collect the information that's written, even when watching a video. While watching this, I felt that the words went by a bit fast, and although I got a chance to read them, I didn't get that extra second or 2 to collect it. I do understand, however that the video was limited with regards to time. Basically, I didn't really "feel" the written content of the video. I felt that the overall message was better presented in the video, which could therefore do without the text.
At the end it says coming soon, yet right before that it says coming August 15th. It's a minor thing but going back and forth with when its coming doesn't give off any meaningful effect, especially with the two texts appearing one after the other. You have a choice between "Coming Soon" and "Coming August 15th", but in choosing, make sure to stick with it. Using both, especially back to back, doesn't help, but again its minor.
Overall the video portrayed a very down to earth, yet competitive environment set out for these entrepreneurs. Where the goal was to come off as being a show for the people, where those watching through their computers could feel as though they could be a part of it given the opportunity, you succeeded. It didn't come off as some larger than life scenario that one could not see themselves being a part of. The "real" effect was accomplished.

  2. Linda Wilkinson Says:

OK, I'm not going to give you an analysis of your content. What I am going to tell you is that it made more excited to see your up coming show, The Next Internet Millionaire!

  3. Kanhaiyya Maniyar Says:

The video is great. It has given me the lot of information about the adsense. I am dying to read your book as soon as possible. So, that I can make a handsome amout of money through it.

  4. Larry Says:

    Nothing...

  5. Luke Says:

LOL, its like a film trailer, LOL, makes me want to watch on the 15th of August tho, all in all slick little vid.

  6. Dan Says:

Great trailer, can't wait for the show to start!

  7. Marilyn Jamieson Says:

    Hi Joel

The video is ok - but you had better watch out it does not set someone's epilepsy off. I found the continous flashing quite annoying, but then everyone else here thought it was very cool.

  8. Izzy Says:

    Simply Great!

  9. Bryan Miller Says:

you shoulda picked me in the top 12, but I won't complain. i can enjoy watching something as much as I can doing it.

    awesome clips, though, very professional.

I especially like your still shot in the middle, introducing you as the host. haha, it looks kind of old-timeyish, but awesome, none-the-less...

    thanks, Joel.

  10. anthony Says:

Great video Joel. Very informative and professional.

  11. Kandi Wood Says:

Just like a movie trailer that makes me want to have to go and see it!
Looking forward to the actual show.....

  12. Ryan Thompson Says:

    Joel,
I was a contestant on a reality show for stock car driving that was shown on SpikeTV. Your trailer is heads and shoulders above theirs and theirs was pretty good. But...yours is great. Its a great teaser that presents the idea in an exciting manner that leaves you wanting more. Good luck and I look forward to watching it. Ryan-

  13. John Olson Says:

Too many flashes. The writing is too thin and moves kind of fast.

  14. Corrie Says:

I have a fast connection but it didn't load well. I don't know what the problem is. So I couldn't watch the whole thing.

  15. Bart San Antonio Says:

well! i cannot see anything that will convince me that your "ads" have sense to make it "adsense". please make another one! even for a movie trailer? no one will like it! no arts whatsoever! sorry but that's my honest opinion.

  16. Steve Says:

Made me want to come back on the 15th!

  17. Victor Says:

    Hi! Joel,
Quite interesting video full of impact for those who wants to be a millionaire in the internet market!

  18. Pat Says:

Excellent trailer! Can't wait to see the show!

  19. Shannon Says:

Looks like a typical trailer for a TV reality show, sans the soundbytes. So, if that's what you were going for, good job!

  20. Don Hedge Says:

Hi Joel, I enjoyed the vidio very profesionaly done.

  21. Elita Torres Says:

Looks very professional and well done. It's something that you would probably see for a reality show trailer by Mark Burnett.

  22. John Says:

The main problem I had with the trailer is that the editor dipped a little too often into his special effects box.

I tend to agree with an earlier comment that there was a bit too much "flashing". A change in transitions might have worked better and had a less "harsh" effect. Sometimes you can have too much of a good thing.

The relevance of Marlon having a little on-stage rant had meaning only if one was aware of the competition and what it entailed. For someone seeing just the clip/trailer for the first time, he merely came across as an overwrought competitor (Hmmm, maybe that DOES describe Marlon!)

The sound track was good and pumped up the visuals. I think you got the message across well.

Now about that autographed book :o)

  23. Anne Marie Says:

I love the concept for the show. Overall the clip compels me to visit the website, however the color red and the flashing graphics were off-putting. The facial expressions of the participants transmitted the sense of competitiveness making the red (reminded me of a blood bath) extraneous.

    Overall an excellent concept!

  24. Pravin Hansaraj Says:

This first clip has made me look forward to the main event because it was very stimulating and catchy.

  25. Mary Says:

I like the trailer it created excitement and intrigue. It reminds of the trailer that I kept watching for close to a year before the release of The Secret and everyone know what a great success that was.

  26. Drew Says:

I think this video is put together VERY nicely and I am now REALLY looking forward to seeing this show! Hopefully I'll learn more too!

  27. M.R. Says:

Nice music, maybe even to nice, considering what it's advertising :-)

The whole clip doesn't tell me why I should watch it! What's in there for me watching it? Entertainment? Nah, I'd rather play with my kid for entertainment :-) Information? There's nothing in this clip tipping me that I might learn something if I'd what it.

  28. Lesley Says:

Overall, good presentation. The editing was a tad too jumpy but it put the competitive edge across very well. Music OK but not very 'catchy', I thought. Should spark a lot of interest. Can't wait for the 15th! Good luck to everyone taking part.

  29. John Says:

    Well,
the cut of the video is done very well and it goes along with the rhythm of the music perfectly.

However, a spoken track is missing. Only a view words, phrases to better catch your attention. If it just were at the very end, "The next internet millionaire coming on August 15th". Something like that.
    Yours
    John

it is missing one essential channel. There is

  30. Linda Says:

I too had difficulty gettin this to load with high speed internet. The flashes became even faster when they came. I do not feel compelled to watch. The words flashed fy so quickly that I missed most of them.

  31. Stephane Says:

Slick, and a little over the top, but I gotta say I liked it.

If The Next Internet Millionaire! is as good as the trailer, it should make for some interesting viewing.

  32. SandyTurley Says:

Hey, you two really put together a nice promotion clip. Very professional.

  33. Graham Hazleton Says:

    Great!!

  34. Abbas Saleh Says:

very nice exiteng video presentation,,, i've always wanted to do staff like this,,,, short but effictive .. thnx

  36. ATINDRIYA MAITRA Says:

    Dear Mr. Joel,

I have seen your Video show. It is really good to see those moving slides. It conveys that some information is
coming soon within 15th August regarding How to be Millionaire. But in any case, it is bit fast. I tried to read the contents two/three times. But unfortunately, I am unable to read all details. You and and your colleague will going to give us book on
AdSense. This information is obviously fantastically represented.

In any case, I am eagerly waiting to see the contents of the AdSense new book.

    With best regards,
    Atindriya Maitra.

  38. Kenneth Harrison Says:

Found it difficult to watch with all the flashing. If I were to watch the program that followed would probably give the intro a miss and make a cup of coffee or something. literally a dazzling prresentation. Good luck with everything. Ken.

  39. Peter Blum Says:

    OK
    now I am curious

  40. scott Says:

Awesome Video, the professionalism and the creativity of this video. Who was behind this one...Steven Spielberg or the next great director Eric Holmlund and producer Joel Comm. The suspense for the 15th to arrive - can't wait.

  41. Muliadihardjo Says:

The Video trailer is so great, and I can't wait to see the contest begin. Profesionally made and once again, it's truly a great job!

  42. Ahmad Says:

    coooooooooooooooooooooooL

  43. gw Says:

Wow... I liked the theme song, very professional!
Excellent idea, my version didn't load well, will have to do some checking as to why. I am a newbie so I will be watching. Looking forward to much, much more!

  44. Michael Mathiesen Says:

I liked the flow of the whole trailer over all. The text size would fit a tv screen better than 320x240, it needs to be bigger and there are some transparency issues with the text disappearing at times. Cant wait to catch the show, "coming soon" or August 15th?

  45. krish Says:

Just waiting for the Next Internet Millionare

  46. Anthony Says:

It looks like scam. No information just a lot of flash. You Joel look good in the video Eric on the other hand looks like a bum you got off of the street. The video comes off giving you the idea you can be a millionaire practically overnight, which is the far from the truth. I most likely will not be back on August 15.

  47. Tilman von der Linde Says:

YOUR VIDIO AD IS VERY WELL DONE, IT GAVE ME A GOOD IDEA OF WHAT YOU ARE PROMOTING. YOU COULD HAVE GIVEN A LITTLE MORE MEAT TO THE MESSAGE. OTHERWISE IT IS WELL DONE!

  48. Steve Says:

Joel you did great with this video, as usual taking into concideration the works I seen you do in the past. Very professional as I would expect, keep up the good work. I'm looking forward to the 8/15/07 event.

  49. Harry Says:

It compares to the ads I've seen on T.V. lately for movies coming out. Like them, it moves to fast for slow eyes like mine to follow very clearly. Especially when your book flashes on the screen. I'm sure most every one who sees it, knows what it is, but it goes by too fast and it's too small for any one who dosn't. It is a great temptation for me to possibly win your book. I am in hopes that it tells how someone without two cents to rub together can follow your methods and become a millionaire on the internet or anywhere else. Here's wishing you good luck with your project.

    Harry

  50. tornadoM Says:

An interesting video. I like the music. But I prefer something with more voice-overs. It doesn't convey to me a sense of what kind of competition this is. Winning money? Winning the potential to earn money? Both of these ideas are not attractive enough to me. Is it about strategy? I love strategy. But that doesn't come through in the video.

  51. Fred Says:

You know what Joel, I like Formula 1, because it's fast and I like fast. Man, Formula 1 cannot compete with this videomessage !! With its speed that is. Its to much information presented in to little time. I feel like being overrun by a F1-car ! Fairly I know what it's about, but wow chill man and be sure to keep to what you want to bring across for a message, ok?
I like speed, but not when I want to really grap the message... tnx !

  52. Kurt Says:

Great Production! Great sound, excellent visuals. Will be looking forward to August 15th for sure!

  53. James Driscolli Says:

Cool video and it looks like a great concept for a show!

  54. gaye Says:

very interesting ....and i wish all the contestants in the show all the very best...ill be back to see who wins

  55. Sunil Says:

Once again, a Great job Joel.

  56. suresh Says:

    Dear joelcomn ,
You are proofed you are genius and experience person in the online areana

  57. Susan Says:

The music conveys a sense of urgency to watch and that I believe is a strong point. But the quick change from scenes is a bit difficult to follow. A audible comment during the presentation about what is going to take place would be helpful. The quality of the production overall is very good and the ending does look very much like a movie.

  58. Linda Says:

Wow - looks great - just like "The Apprentice"
    Very "catchy"
Can't wait to see the show

  59. Gayle Says:

I like the video a lot. It got me excited about the upcoming show! Some of the words came to fast for me to read, but overall I thought it had great graphics and content.

  60. Jac Says:

I liked it. I don't think you should ask people to comment on something like this, because then they either just want the book or they try and read too much into it. there is nothing wrong with it. Just sit back, relax and you get the message. Brilliant. By the way, I allready have the book, so mine is just an honest opinion.

  61. Dave Webb Says:

    Positives
-Good theme music. Built intrigue and drew me in.
-Excellent video clips. Marlon's rant, the arm pump, wiping a tear. Fantastic!
-Overall quality very professional. Not cheap or cheesy feeling.

    Negatives
-The flashes were a bit much. Too distracting.
-Text went by too fast. I got it all, but was tough to keep up with.

    Suggestions
-Make a 60 second spot with several sound bytes and well-timed, minimal voice over.

    Conclusion
-Show starts the day before my birthday and I'm looking forward to watching the show far more than aging another year!

It appears you have accomplished your goal of producing a high quality internet reality show. Good job, Joel! Looking forward to watching it with my homeschooled children and seeing the shots filmed right in my home state of Colorado. Can't wait! Thanx!

  62. Patrick Says:

Great video ad Joel. Has that groovy sense that you cant wait to see what is going on. Like the amazing race. Also I thought that the content was relevant and to the point and it did make you feel with all the tech and flashing, that there was an element of competitiveness that would eventually take place. Great Job, caught my attention.

  63. Ramesh Kittusamy Says:

OK, I'm not going to give you an analysis of your content. What I am going to tell you is that it made more excited to see your up coming show, The Next Internet Millionaire!

  64. Alfredo Vaamonde Says:

If we are talking about the production of the video I have to say great. What didn't convince me was the content of the video. I feel that I still don't know what it’s about. I understand that it is a Reality Show through the Internet and that you’re going to choose a winner who will become the Next Internet Millionaire. What I still don't understand are the tasks, for how long is the show and what is the grand prize besides the 25 grand and the joint venture. What I'm trying to say is how is he going to become the Next Internet Millionaire? And how do you know he is not already out there?. On the other hand I already watched the first episode I really liked the “Get to Know each other” trick and the diversity of the cast. What I didn’t understand is If you’re an Advertising Guru on the Internet, why didn’t you get a Sponsor on the Laptops (the brand was censored) that you gave to the members of the Show.

Besides all of the above. I Loved the idea of the show. keep it up. Alfredo

  65. Les Says:

The flashing near the start when they are getting out of the car etc. doesn't give enough time to get a good look at what's going on.

Overall the whole video could be a bit simpler without trying to cram so much in, it seems a bit hurried and someone who doesn't know what it is about will miss more than they pick up.

  66. Dan Smith Says:

Better than any Television trailer for all the reality shows out there but I do feel it could be slowed down just a little. This is a great concept and one that I'm sure will be duplicated over and over, jeez why didn't I think of that?
