I can't tell you how many times people have walked up to me at Yanik Silver's Underground Seminar and said, "You're Joel Comm!"
Usually, I get a dumbfounded look on my face, look down at my badge to confirm their suspicions, smile, and look back up them... saying, "why, yes I am!"
It's an incredilby humbling experience, actually, because I'm the same guy that I was before anyone thought of me as the AdSense guru. Honestly, I don't deserve to be on a pedastal. No one does. We're all just people trying to make our way.
But it isn't always that way...
There have been at least two specific people that left me with an entirely different impression. These people are very accompished and successful by the world's standards... but their ego oozes from every pore. It's the kind of attitude that makes you feel like you need a bath just because you are in the same room. Blech. Hopefully people see through that.
Fortunately, most people are grounded and down to the earth. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to teach others and to enjoy success online.

I read your site sometimes and think to myself, "I met that guy at Target and he offered me a job, wow God works in very interesting ways."
I'm glad that I got to know you and I enjoy watching you become even more successful.
One day you will hopefully feel the same way about me!
