I've been watching St. Louis for years, and frankly, the city has struggled with the same issues that hit many Midwest manufacturing centers: declining population, corporate departures, and a persistent wealth gap between the city and county. But here's what excites me about this moment: AI isn't just another tech trend for St. Louis. It's potentially the great equalizer this region needs.
