It’s a real book, with paper pages and it’s cheap! Nothing wrong with e-books, I was just suprised.
Seriously, if you are just starting out, read all you can, steer clear of the so called push button income and have a good look around Joel’s blog for some sound and honest advice.

Ditto on the “push button” software. I wish more blogger types would warn people of these obvious scams. Great templates, WordPress etc are one thing but the instant wealth software is almost always 99% CRAP.
I found this book very good in ideas, but somewhat “wordy” and sometimes hard to digest and comprehend. It helped seeing him on “The View” for him to review the bar codes and what they can do. However, we do not have an iphone or smartphone with apps. That’s absolutely what you need to be “cool” and get with it and get rich. Let’s just say we’re from the baby boomer generation and perhaps prefer saving our money. Haven’t finished reading the book yet, but will.

I thought this book was a good overview book, but a lot of the information (especially on traffic) was a bit outdated. I was sort of disappointed. But it’s a good book for people who want to learn more about making money with domains like Mark did.
OK. but does it work for newbies, who are the audience who will really understand this system, and does it OK to mix so many different strategies at one system?
I have been blindly tinkering with this stuff for a couple of years. Have made coffee money at best. Maybe it’s time to buy a book and give it one last try…

Am mid way through this book and your right its a good read and informative insight to people looking to understand the opportunities in internet marketing.
I think its important to point out though that once they choose which method they are going to try, they stick to it and see it through.
