Howard Dean Makes a Meaty Comment
If a conservative would have said what Howard Dean said on Hardball with Chris Matthews, the mainstream media would deem it worthy of front page mockery. But since it was far-left wacko Dean, he gets a pass. That’s ok. The entertainment value is to good to pass up. So what did Howie say?
On the October 5th edition of “Hardball with Chris Matthews”, the chairman of the Democratic National Committee was asked this question in regard to the Republicans’ reluctance to let the Senate review Harriet Miers’s White House counsel papers…
MATTHEWS: Do you believe that the president can claim executive privilege?
DEAN: Well, certainly the president can claim executive privilege. But in the this case, I think with a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court, you can’t play, you know, hide the salami, or whatever it’s called.
Hehe… oh, that’s just too rich. And they all-but-tarred-and-feathered Dan Quayle for mispelling “potato”.
The hypocrisy is glaring, but this type of silliness shouldn’t make the front page anyhow. It’s just plain fun to watch the democrats implode. 🙂
