  1. Really enjoying your podcast. I also listen to Mobile App Chat and Pat Flynn. I’ve been on Klout for about 11 months now and enjoy charting my progress….I’m at 45 today. Love your positive attitude!

  2. Yes you got me thinking about my Klout score. 63 is not too bad I guess without doing anything about it. Wondering what one can actually do to push it. Diving in – would love a copy, if you’ll send it all the way to Africa too? 🙂
Also am very interested in your inner circle. Am actively looking to join a programme like that, so far have test driven a few but wasn’t a fit. Yours might just be the right thing, have only started to get a glimpse of your world but I like what I see so far. Again, if you let people who live at the end of the world (next stop Antarctica) in 😉

  3. Hi Joel – great podcast. I’m signed up with Klout with multiple accounts (I think I eliminated the third and have it down to two). I have two distinct businesses (each with a very different focus, namely horses and small business) that have different websites, Twitter accounts, FB addresses, etc. Do you know if there’s any way to merge the two? I haven’t been able to find a way to list more than one location (FB, Twitter, website, etc.) on Klout. Do you know if this is possible?

  4. Hey Joel!

I recently saw you speak at a convention and was really impressed, by a very cool very clever video you showed in which some scrolling text about pessimism was reversed and used the exact same words to encourage optimism. Where can I find a copy of this? I was very inspired by it and want to share it with some friends of mine who are having a hard time with their businesses right now.

    Thanks a million!

  5. Hey Joel,
    I enjoyed the podcast.
I don’t know if you read Mark Schaeffer’s “Return On Influence”? I would have considered that the first book on Klout, although ‘Klout’ wasn’t in the title.

And I want to take the opportunity to thank you. I have Twitter Power on my bookshelf which that got me started on twitter.

Finally if you want to give me +1K 😉

  6. Yet another awesome podcast Joel. As a beginner with only a few weeks in the business I am soaking up everything you are sharing. I believe in Klout and hope to continue to raise my influence and business acumen by modeling myself after successful people, such as yourself, that share their minds.

  7. My score overs in the mid 50 to low 60. It definitely flucuates the more or less I tweet. I wish it would expand to include a broader range of networks. I rarely use Google+ simply because there is now API to manage my posts to my personal profile from HootSuite. It would be interesting to see how Vine plays into this. I find I get better interaction on Vine than I do on Instagram anymore.

  8. Thanks, Joel. Until listening to this Pod Cast, Klout was just another place to visit once in a while and check my current score. Now I will be a lot more serious about the implications of a higher Klout Score.

  9. Hi Joel, great podcast about Klout!
We fully agree with you, the Klout score becomes a very important indicator of a person or organization’s influence on social media! Have you ever tried Embedle? Embedle is a twitter App that encourages engagements and help your klout scores. a huffington post article explained the details http://t.co/CIvHVlhEVV

  10. Hi Joel,
Great podcast.. Thanks for the tutorial and explaining the importance of Klout. That little orange number has now given new meaning to my tweets and making time to engage.

Love to get +1K and be considered to learn in your inner circle.
