Millionaire Speaker Secrets

I’ve been a public speaker for a number of years.

Whether I am keynoting, conducting a workshop or doing a breakout session, I am passionate about my subject matter.

Everyone has different purposes for speaking. I do it because I must. I am strangely compelled and driven to share my knowledge and enthusiasm with others.

And when I speak, I have three goals in mind.

1) I want people to be inspired.

I believe educational material is better received if the hearts of the audience are engaged.

I make it a priority to accomplish this first and foremost. If you don’t believe you can move towards a goal then it doesn’t matter what content follows next.

2) I want people to learn.

Whether I am speaking for thirty minutes or two hours, I always try to overdeliver on content. I want to make sure that my audience has learned something new that they can move towards right away. I can’t stand when speakers do nothing but sell themselves. You must deliver valuable content!

3) I want people to be entertained.

I’m just a big kid and I love to have fun on stage. Nothing thrills me more than a responsive audience that plays along with me.

Like a musician who feeds off the audience digging his vibe, I feel that the audience is an integral part of the event.

Yes, I have spoken to “boring” audiences. And I do all I can to wake them up!

Speaking is more than giving a speech. For me, I throw in every bit of energy I have to create a memorable experience!

I’m fortunate in that no one had to teach me how to speak from the platform.

I can’t hit a ball or shoot hoops.

I can’t sing or dance.

In fact, there are so many things I CAN’T do that the list would be way to long.

But one thing I can do naturally is speak from the platform.

Many people would LOVE to be able to do the same for a number of reasons.

One of the primary reasons is the money involved.

I won’t lie to you. Speaking is a lucrative profession.

I recently met James Malinchak.

James is known as one of the great trainers for those wanting to learn how to speak from the platform in order to make more money.

In fact, James has invited me to attend and speak at his event that takes place in Las Vegas July 29-August 1, 2010!

At this event, James is going to peel back the curtain and show you all of the tips, strategies and techniques for how to easily sell a thousands and thousands of dollars of your products, and doing so while always maintaining an ethical foundation and never coming across like you are ever selling anything!

Even though I have been a speaker for years, I am planning on listening in to hear what James has to say.

If you have any interest in becoming a public speaker and learning how to sell from the stage, this is the place you need to be.
