Share the Love
I recently enjoyed a meal with my daughter at Hu Hot Mongolian Grill in Fort Collins. It’s our favorite place to enjoy build-your-own stir fry. Very tasty.
As we were leaving the table, I heard my name called out.
“Joel”… I turned around to a gentlemen looking at me. I didn’t recognize him so I am scanning the recesses of my brain very rapidly to try to recall where I know him from.
As it turns out, I had never met him before. He recognized me and wanted to say hello.
Turns out he had read Twitter Power and just wanted to say thanks.
You never really know what kind of impact you are having out there until someone tells you what your work has meant to them.
When I attend conferences I regularly hear from people who share this kind of information with me.
They have enjoyed my iPhone app and show me iFart on their device.
They have read KaChing and got their own KaChing Button.
They watched The Next Internet Millionaire and were inspired to do their own videos.
They got introduced to social media for the first time through Twitter Power.
Some have been fans all the way back to the early days of WorldVillage.com and others know me from my Google AdSense ebooks.
Whatever the connection, it’s always wonderful to hear how your work is received. The best stories are those where people are inspired to attain their goals or where they share of financial success resulting from my material. It’s very rewarding.
If I have impacted your life positively in any way, I would love to hear from you as well.
Would you be willing to take a couple minutes and share with me how I have influenced you?
I’ve set up a form on this site at Leave a Testimonial for Joel.
You can leave as much or as little as you want. Upload your photo if you want and tell me your website. If you leave your Twitter ID, I may tweet you!
I’ve actually created a short video to say thank you to my customers. Please take a look and let me know how I have helped you.
Do good stuff!
Joel
P.S. – You CAN leave comments below, but if you are leaving a testimonial please do it here.

Joel,
There is no doubt I have been influenced and helped by your work. I’ve read Twitter Power and am currently listening to KaChing for the second time. I appreciate the non-hype approach you have to IM. I also value your personal touch when it comes to sharing your religious thoughts, political views and personal experiences. I believe it makes you authentic and relatable. Thanks for providing value to my reading and online education. I’m trying to do Good Stuff!

Great read.
hi Joel, sharing the love of music is what i want to promote and I’m coming up with some ideas but can’t put it together because of the information overload on the internet. I like reading your blog

Very true.
I was also shocked beyond belief when I found a website qouting my work from an article I had posted online in 2009.
Whereas I had been assuming that I was not really a guru. Condeming myself as a nobody, I realised that I’m actually an ‘authority.’
It is really a humbling experience when you get strangers thanking you for work.
