While speaking at Internet Prophets Live in Chicago this past April, I had the privilege of meeting Pat Flynn. A dynamic speaker who demonstrates real results in his online business, Pat has succeeded in building a loyal following and a killer podcast which reaches thousands of people each week. I was incredibly flattered when Pat…
If you’ve been following my blog for the past few months, you’ll know that I am being extremely selective when it comes to endorsing products that are not my own. I’m not going to jump on the bandwagon and promote a product just because everyone else is. So you can be sure that when I…
I can’t believe it has been over five years since the release of my first ebook on how to make money with Google AdSense. Originally titled “What Google Never Told You About Making Money with AdSense”, the ebook came out in January 2005 with just 66 pages. Today it is in its fourth edition and…
Whenever I teach people about making money with AdSense, I make sure to let them know how easy it is to get started. Once they understand that their original content can translate to a revenue stream, they usually want to know what to do. For someone who has never blogged before, I recommend they set…
WARNING: Today’s post is going to rattle cages and put a spotlight on a potentially dark side of Internet marketing. Yeah, I’m probably going to tick some people off. That’s life. Now direct messages boxes are packed with Mafia invitations, follower lists have been infiltrated by pornbots, and I had to put up with dozens of impostors trading on my name before my verified account was…
When I was working on Click Here to Order, I had a problem. How could I describe all of the accomplishments achieved by the people I was interviewing? Although each of the marketers I spoke to was usually best known for creating one unique model, which they were now sharing with others, almost all of…
I’m scared of change. There, I said it. It’s not big news though. Everyone is scared of change. Change is a scary thing. It means giving up what you have now for something better that you can only hope you’ll have in the future. It’s risky. It’s dangerous. It’s disruptive. It’s also thrilling, exciting… and…
When I went to my first Internet marketing conference I had a huge surprise. It wasn’t the amount of information that I picked up sitting in the audience. And it wasn’t the fascinating conversations I had sitting in the restaurants and the hotel bar in the evening. It was the fact that people knew me.
