  2. A year and a half ago I purchased the DVD set of Elevate. I had never – NEVER made such a big investment on a set of DVDs. I was scared Mr Visa would call to confirm the charges.
    I was not disappointed.
    Using Joel and Dan’s advice I turned around my way of thinking about online opportunities. If you are thinking to yourself “I have Joel’s adsense books, and the kindle version of Ka-Ching, what could this offer?”
    A lot.
    I stick in one of the DVDs whenevr I am having a bit of doubt about where I am going, and it always makes me bounce back.
    Great information, great product and what a deal on the online versions. I haven’t used the video templates yet, but they are very, very nice.

  6. I hope people can see through your thinly disguised model:
    1. I’m fed up with the internet marketing game and I’m going to tell you the truth about launches.
    2. Those launch guys are really bad and here’s why I’m still fed up, reformed my ways, and I’m a much better guy to listen to.
    3. A few days later… Oh, and by the way, I have an expensive course to sell you that will show you THE way. Hmm, a mildly modified magic bullet? It plays on exactly the same emotions as the launch model.
    4. One of the ways I’m going to do this is allow you to get my inside scoop, super high priced material that EVERYONE loved at a deep discount. “This has never been done before”. Are you freaking kidding me – never been done before? Check all the sites of the naughty product launch gurus and watch their downsell funnel. Seems like the phrase “This has never been done before” has been used so many times, it’s practically plagiarism.
    Sorry, but I don’t see any substantive, ethical change here. Just a switch to a different business model with very similar foundational tactics to those you supposedly disdain.
    Wonder if this comment will make it through to the approval process?

  7. Last year I bought the Elevate’s DVDs. What a waste of money. There is no diference between Elevate and all those trash the so called internet marketers are trying to sell us.
    Joel and all the other guys just win money selling a promise that we going to win money buying their stuff.
    We do better reading Google guidelines

    During the past two years I read your Adsense book, Twitter Power and now am reading Kaching.
    This morning when I rec’d your email with “Let me Elevate Your Life! May I Help You?” I was intrigued as I have been asking God for clear direction as to what He wants me to do with my interior design practice. I clicked on your video
    and it was exactly what God ordered to encourage me! Thank you!
    As I mentiomed, I have been praying for about 10 days for direction from God as to what to do with the dream He has placed inside me. This morning, I cried out for wisdom and His will.   11. I am Italian,and I live in Italy. From what I see and read most of Joel’s readers come from the US and no wonder why. I came to know about Joel through KaChing and it blew me away. I purchased the Elevated Blueprint around 4 months ago and I am still watching the videos today. In fact, I haven’t finished studying them and all the sources of information that literally feed my hungry imagination every day. Lots and lots of ideas, very cool stuff I am doing, although it is a little early yet to hear that beautiful KaChing sound. But I am a dreamer. And I am a believer. And 4 years after building my half million euro money making venture from scratch and turning my life into a much more rewarding venue than the good one I already built, I can but say THANK YOU for what you share. I don’t agree with the negative comments above, oh well, there’s good and bad in the world and one cannot expect everyone else to agree with his/her opinions and ideas. But honestly your advice is really welcome and is doing me a lot of good. So again, Thank you Joel, Thank you guys!     Your name doesn’t come up as a buyer of Elevate. (based on whois records and all our customer records) Also as Elevate is not about Google Adsense reading Google guidelines would not be relevant to the product at all.

  14. This is a single response to the 2 negative responses in this thread.
    I received the Elevate DVD pack in October and I’m not even close to getting through all the videos. What I have seen is basically taking you step-by-step and showing your the process. Ever heard the phrase, “get rich slowly”? The “naughty guru’s” Joel talks about are one promising to go from homeless on the streets to millionaire from Clickbank in 3 months, that’s called hype.
    Joel and Dan and team don’t preach hype. This is Joel’s product. A seminar that he and his team held for 3 days and they made DVD’s of it. The gurus that Joel speaks about are the ones who redo or push old material in a shiny new box. How can you bash someone for promoting their own 3 day, live seminar? That’s like calling Bill Gates out for promoting Windows 7.
    You two probably fall into the category of newbies who thought $100 bills would fall out of the DVD box when you opened it. You’re upset that in 4 hours and 3 clicks you didn’t make your first $1,000.
    I’ve been in their office, Joel ordered us Chinese, they are the real deal and they show you the path. Its up to you to put in the work.
    Oh and by the way, how is your product doing?

    I hardly leave comment at people’s blog but today I want to do that because I must say that you had provided a great contents and love the way you presented it – simple, concise and straight to the point.
    Yes, we definitely need good mentor to guide us on how-to when we feel lost at certain point. Hope will find one soon in my niche and that is you. 🙂

  16. I bought the elevate package in Australia in 2009 (full price). Although the content is good, I felt I was left a little high and dry as there was no follow up up or anywhere I could ask questions about the content. I have been struggling trying to get an online business up and running for the last 2 years and am nearly ready to give up as I don’t know what to do next. Access to a member site would be really helpful fir people who have purchased the hard copies. I just don’t want to give up but getting frustrated. I don’t mind if this published or not but wanted to give you my thoughts.

    The Elevate Blueprint teaches evergreen online business principles. The ones that people always fall back when the fads of 2009 and 2010 no longer work. We teach what works and will always work. No shortcuts.
    There is very little content that is not just as relevant today as it was in 2008. However, the perception that the content is not as relevant is the reason we have significantly lowered the price.
