The Lifeblood of Your Business

Have you ever been spread so thin that you felt like one little pat of butter in an entire bread factory? There are so many things to do, yet there is only so much time, money, and resources to go around. I’ve felt this way many times. And when it happens, it should act as a signal that you need to prioritize and refocus your efforts on what is most important.
It’s no different with your website.
If visitors come to your site and they can’t discern its purpose and the value it can bring them in a matter of seconds, they will likely leave and not return. File that under “very bad.”
It is essential for you to clearly define what your site is about. Do you want to provide content that will prove so useful that people will bookmark your site and visit again in the future? Then don’t clutter it with plugins displaying the local weather.
Is your site a sales page offering an ebook or membership program? Don’t litter the page with advertisements that distract from the central message.
Or is your site nothing BUT advertisements with little focus on delivering actual value? Then I would suggest that you are completely wasting your time and need to concentrate on succeeding in the long-term.
There are probably reasons that your website may not be taking off to the degree you had hoped. Do a little analysis of your site and try to pinpoint what those reasons are. It will help you know what to do about them.
