Do you have any veterans in your life? Do you know any that have experience PTSD? As you are likely aware, our brave men and women of the military sometimes see, hear and experience the unspeakable brutality of war. As a result, not only are some left physically changed, but emotionally scarred as well.
The US Veterans Administration is currently NOT approving Veterans with PTSD eligibility to receive support animals from the government for those needing emotional support. This is a shame, but hopefully the tide will turn as the government reviews the affect of support animals on the emotional well-being of these soldiers in the near future.
When this happens, there will be a desperate need for dogs, and for the trainers who can prepare them to serve their new owners.
That’s where YOU come in.
My wonderful daughter, Jenna Comm, has a passion for people and dogs. And it is her desire to serve both by becoming a qualified service dog trainer!
Twenty-one year-old Jenna already has some basic dog training, but her next step is leading her to California where she will have the opportunity to take the next steps towards her goal.
Her mother and I are taking care of her housing while she is there, but Jenna insisted on raising some of her own funds to make this happen. (She’s very responsible and determined!)
So we set up this GoFundMe campaign with a target of $5000 to help Jenna move to Cali (on August 15th).
Jenna’s heart is set on this and as her father, I’m as proud as a daddy can be. 🙂
Would you please watch the video, and then click the link to support Jenna’s dream? Thank you!!!
