Walking with Joel
To stay in shape and keep my body moving, I have taken a walk almost every day since September 2010. It’s rare that I miss a day and make it a point to take at least one hour to get outside or hit the treadmill.
Last month I did a podcast that was recorded while I was walking. You got to hear the crunching of leaves, the passing of cars and all the other sounds associated with being right there with me.
I thought to myself… “Self, why not record a short video sometimes while you are walking? You can share what’s on your mind, encourage other people to exercise and perhaps inspire them with a thought?”
Myself responded favorably and I have started shooting short videos while I walk. Of course, I needed a creative name for this series. I didn’t come up with one, so I just call it “Walking with Joel”.
Following is a playlist of videos from the series, though you can always find the latest ones on my YouTube channel.
I hope you enjoy these and please leave your comments below!

Hi Joel,
You’ve often caught my attention with tricky one liners and personal stuff. Actually its mainly when you do a one liner that seems more personal that I take a look. In this busy world full of stuff to get my attention your personal touch makes the difference. I love these videos. Makes me feel like I know you a little more.
Thanks for putting yourself out there for us.

Great Joel… but how is your right arm and shoulder after all that? : D
I particularly like the video entitled What To Do When You Hit Bottom. Indeed, the decisions we make during a crisis are absolutely critical in determining whether we remain in crisis or recover and move forward. Hope you don’t mind, but I used that video as inspiration to write a blog post this morning. http://deannadimmitt.co/a-simple-strategy-for-surviving-tough-times-how-to-not-make-a-bad-situation-worse/
Thanks Joel!!
