What Should You Do Now?

You’ve made your website, done the SEO, created content that people like and optimized your ad systems. You’re getting visitors, those visitors are clicking the ads and your site is finally making some serious revenue.

So what do you do now?

I’ll tell you what I did when that happened to me…

I did a little happy dance.

No, you can’t find that dance on YouTube (I do have a little pride) but it was a great moment. It had taken me a long time to figure out how to turn content into revenue in a way that was both reliable and meaningful so I had good reason to be happy. Getting my AdSense revenues to reach hundreds of dollars a day didn’t happen overnight. It took a lot of work, a lot of experimentation and a lot of time.

It wasn’t free money. I’d earned it.

That was why, after I finished my happy dance, I told some of my friends how I’d done it. I didn’t want them to have to sweat over their sites in the way that I’d had to do.

When they started seeing those results too, one of them suggested I put the strategies I’d used in an ebook and tell other people.

That was how first version of The AdSense Code was written – and I haven’t looked back since.

That first short ebook was expanded into a full-length book, which went on to become a New York Times bestseller. I’ve since written a popular guide to marketing with Twitter, as well as KaChing, my latest book detailing all of the most effective strategies that I use to generate income online. But I’ve also produced guides to Kontera, to Chitika and to a whole host of other systems that I’ve tried and found useful.

The benefits of producing information products like these are enormous. The branding power is great, of course, and the additional revenue is always useful (although running successful websites is a lot easier.) But nothing beats the satisfaction that comes from knowing that you’re helping other entrepreneurs achieve financial independence.

That’s something available to anyone who’s achieved success.

As soon as you reach your milestone, you can create an ebook explaining how you did it. If you find that there’s interest, you can expand it, adding new information that you discovered during the writing process.

It’s simple to do, and you’ll find that helping other people’s businesses does wonders for your own.

When you’ve achieved success, the next thing to do is to give back.
