Where You Can Find Me

How is it possible to be in one place and everywhere at the same time?
For us mere mortals, it’s not. However, with social media all of us are more connected than ever before.
I frequently get questions from people wanting to know how they can connect with me.
I thought it would be useful for me to provide a list of where you can find me. I invite you to connect and interact with me via all of the following social media venues. Take some time to go through the list and make sure we are connected on all the sites/services you are using. As you do, just click FOLLOW, LIKE, FRIEND or whatever is called for in order to connect.
I will be giving away some cool freebies in the near future, but you’ll need to be connected in order to hear about them.
Easy enough? Cool. Let’s get started…
Let’s start with the 500 ton gorilla, Facebook. Due to the 5000 friend limit, I decided to limit my personal page to family and friends I actually know. However, Facebook allows you to create pages with no limit to the number of people you can interact with. So I invite you to join my page at facebook.com/joelcommfan. Simply visit the page and click the LIKE button.
Does Twitter still have power? Of course, it does! But I must confess there are other services which are threatening Twitter’s path. Nevertheless, I still use it and know many of you do as well. Visit my Twitter page and click FOLLOW to hook up.
Enter the OTHER 500 ton gorilla… Google Plus. It’s relatively new on the scene, but I really like it. You may or may not be able to access it now depending on where they are in the rollout. However, if you have access, you can find me here on Google Plus. Once on my profile page, click the ADD TO CIRCLES button and put me in whatever category/circle you wish.
Next up is LinkedIn. Not so much social for me, but definitely a great place to connect. The more people you connect with on LinkedIn, the more connected you are to the person you want to meet. I accept every request on LinkedIn, so connect with me here. I maintain a Twitter Power for Business group on LinkedIn. I invite you to join me there as well.
I recently was turned on to Instagram by my daughter and I LOVE it. It is an app for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad, and it allows you to share photos, follow others, comment, like, and so forth. I have always enjoyed posting pictures and commenting on other’s photos, so I am really enjoying Instagram. If you already have the app installed, just search for me by my user name “joelcomm” and follow me. If you have a compatible device but have not installed the app, click here to install from the iTunes app store. Here is a sample of one of my photos.
Finally, there is my YouTube channel. I’ve had over 2,000,000 views to my videos and you can find everything from business to my personal journeys. Most recently I posted how I lost 55 pounds in order to encourage others with their weight-loss and fitness goals. It’s easy to connect with me here. Simply visit my YouTube channel and click the yellow SUBSCRIBE button near the top of the page.
If that’s not enough for you, why not add my blog feed to your newsreader?
So there you have it. I look forward to connecting with you on any or all of the sites/apps listed above.
As always, I love to hear your comments. Which sites are you connecting with me on and which are your favorite sites for getting social? Please leave your feedback below!

hey Joel it been awhile sorry for not connecting more. going over the list i noticed you don’t have a about me page? although from what i hear Google+ is similar to that
Dear Joel,
I have been an avid friend and follower of yours on all those for a while now, thank you for the kind invitation though!
I would love to see some type of app that takes all these connection sources and brings them together as one…identifying the type of course!
Hey, like always Mr. Generous you are very kind enough to share this info though i’m sure you dont need to because all your fans and followers will find you no matter which social network it is :). Joel, thanks for being such a super blogger and on top such a great mentor. to confess, its because of you i’m hooked to blogging and all this and definitely loving it.
Nice article for letting others know how your intend to be available and thru which channel.
Hey Joel, nice one, I am a huge fan and will love to connect, cheers.
Hello, i really like your books and videos, i think you should really think about doing some of your books in other language, because they are really very informative.
Best of the Luck
Rob
Hi Joel…
I know that you had the one app you made…are there any more apps that you have made that you can show us?
Thanks
I’ve often overlooked using social media as much as I should, and in this day and age not doing so can be very detrimental to a business I feel.
Really impressive numbers for the YouTube views. I’m now studying your channel to see what made a few of the videos so much more popular than the others. I’m sure there’s a lesson there…
