Zappos.com Las Vegas Tour
Few Internet companies have succeeded in seizing mindshare more than Zappos.com.
One of the truly great ecommerce success stories, Zappos has built an incredible brand based on a culture-centric philosophy.
They believe that their company culture is what drives their employees to provide premium customer service. And you know what? They are right. It works.
I had the opportunity to tour the Zappos.com Las Vegas campus a few days ago and I’ve put together a video to give you a look inside.
Watch for Tony Hsieh, the CEO of the company is a cameo appearance.

Thanks for the tour of Zippos. Personally I couldn’t work there, the motivation of gags, gifts, gaffaws, puzzles etc etc.. feels patronizing to me. In a way it felt, old school. In a way felt, youthful. It felt like a clash of philosophies, at any rate the working atmosphere there clashed with me.

I am getting ready to head out to Vegas and do a tour of Zappos.com and wanted to see what the tour was all about… so I googled it. Was cruising along with your video then out of nowhere, the very last seconds of your film show Mike Koenings! He’s the one taking us to Vegas and the Zappos tour this coming week. I thought it was kind of funny to see him in your video, especially since I just wanted a glimpse of what to expect… guess I don’t have to imagine Mike in it.
