The Sydney Tower and more

On Saturday, we toured downtown Sydney on the bus, hopping on and off at will. These clips include shopping at the Queen Victoria Building, a ride up the Sydney Tower and a stroll through the botanical gardens.

It turned out to be a beautiful day with plenty of sunshine, but when the sun was going down it cooled off considerably. We shopped, toured and explored. It was a good day.

The kids were up at the crack of dawn, around 6:15 am. But we didn’t mind much as we all slept through the night pretty good. I usually don’t sleep my first night at high altitude, so it was refreshing. I was still tired, but it was fine. We lazed around the room for a…

  • Reno, NV

I’m in “The biggest little city in the world”, Reno, Nevada, attending a meeting of the minds with other Internet entrepreneurs. Strolling through the streets of Reno last night left me quite unimpressed with the city. It feels like a throwback to 1970’s Las Vegas, only cleaner. We dined at a very expensive, yet mediocre,…

I don’t travel nearly as much as I would like to. There’s just something about visiting foreign lands and new places that is exciting! My mother is the world traveler in the family. Her adventure travel web site is rapidly becoming an incredible resource for those interested in planning their own exotic vacation, as well…

  • Red River, Day 6

Another beautiful morning in Red River! We’ve been eating breakfast in the room all week, so we decided to go out for eggs and pancakes this morning. We went to The Hole Thing Donut Shop and were very pleased with the meal. It was pricy, but that’s the way it goes. Afterwards, we found a…

(This entry is somewhat unique in that I am composing it entirely on my T-Mobile Sidekick. I wrote about this device a few weeks back and have been very pleased with it so far. You can search my blog to find out more.) We left Boulder at 11 am and set course for Beaver Creek,…

  1. Adam,
Yes, there are obviously more than one bus and they all follow
a set loop around the city to all the major sights.
The buses come around every 15 mins or so allowing you to jump
on and off when you please. It’s definitely one of the easiest
    ways to see Sydney.
    Either that or by foot!

  2. Auctions in Action,
Your getting very close to spamming Joel’s blog.
You keep commenting twice on all his posts and
just saying things like ‘have fun!’ etc.
I would be careful. I would also concentrate on
getting your site redesigned rather than posting
links on peoples blogs. I can’t imagine many people
would trust your current design with their email
    address.
    Regards,
    WILL
